FOLKART, as the main sponsor, brings together nearly 600 artists from 18 countries at the Izmir International Fair.
FOLKART celebrates its tenth anniversary as the main sponsor of the Izmir International Fair (IIF) as part of its bid to become the biggest construction company in Turkey.
Organized by IZFAŞ under the leadership of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Fare will welcome visitors to its 85th year at the Kültürpark Fair Area with a generous sponsorship from FOLKART. This year, the doors will open with the slogan “Izmir is the Future.” FOLKART's theme of Innovation will bring a fresh breeze of culture and arts to the Izmir Fair. FOLKART will be sponsoring a variety of events, from theater and street shows to dance and jazz.
The company will host theatrical shows at the Ismet Inönü Cultural Center; musicals, dance, and stage shows at the Atatürk Open-Air Theater; and also jazz nights at Mogambo. People in Izmir will be entertained with very exciting and captivating street shows in all open-air spaces of the Kültürpark Fair Area.
During the Fair, FOLKART will bring together many popular theater artists including Haldun Dormen, Ali Poyrazoğlu, Süheyl-Nejla-Behzat Uygur, Güven Kıraç, Emre Karayel, Sumru Yavrucuk, Ayberk Atilla, Hakan Yılmaz, Hande Subaşı, Turgut Tuncalp, Eylül Öztürk, and Ayça Varlıer. Tararam’s stage shows will dazzle all audiences.
Many world famous artists -- among them Della Miles from the United States, Julie Erikssen from Sweden, Ayşe Gençer&İmer, and Şenay Lambaoğlu -- will take the stage during FOLKART's Mogambo Jazz Nights.
Nearly 600 artists will converge in Izmir from Turkey and around the world: Cuba, Sweden, Germany, The United States, the Czech Republic, Israel, France, New Zealand, Italy, England, Ukraine, Russia, Argentina, Estonia, Australia, and Belgium.
