Folkart Gallery was held on January 31, 2015 by Prof. Dr. Hans Zilch's, from Turkey for the first time, "Magic Hand" has opened its doors to art lovers with his collection. Works of legendary artists of the world such as Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dali, Eugène Delacroix, Le Corbusier, Man Ray, Joseph Beuys and Georg Baselitz were exhibited in the famous collection.

The gallery hosted a very important exhibition on the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli Wars, which left its mark on an era and is considered among the bloodiest wars in the world. The exhibition titled "A Song of Freedom", which consists of 100 unpublished photographs of the war, which became epic with the victories of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the Turkish Army, and historical artifacts found in the Gallipoli Peninsula, embraced the people of Izmir on March 18, 2015 at Folkart Gallery.

In October 2015, the art lovers were welcomed with the "Workers" collection of Sebastiao Salgado, one of the world's greatest living photographers, one of the most important representatives of documentary photography.

Folkart Gallery was crowned on December 17, 2015 with a collection of 400 pieces of masks that are rare in world museums, which the veteran journalist-writer Hıfzı Topuz has collected from auctions in African countries and France since 1961. As making sound across Turkey with steps at the gallery, it was recognized by all countries in a short time.

War photography of Robert Capa's legend, the first retrospective exhibition in Turkey 'Sound of White Blood'; It was opened at Folkart Gallery on March 3, 2016. This exhibition of 97 photographs of Capa, who made his name known with the photographs he took during the Spanish Civil War in 1938, drew great interest from the people of Izmir. The number of visitors to the five exhibitions held in the gallery so far has reached 75 thousand.
